About Us
MAS is going to complete more than 20 years and since then has walked a path of progress and growth and dedicated service to the industry.
Its many projects have created a cutting edge environment where growth is multifold. One of MAS 's initial projects was to build a semi automatic vacuum moulding plant with a capacity of 65 sq. meters per hour (700 sq.ft/hr) of fiber moulded products, varying in shape, contour, thickness and colour; like egg trays, fruit trays, seed pots packaging for fragile items etc.; all biodigestable and environment friendly products. In 1983, Defence Research Development Organization, Ministry of Defence, Government of India, approached us to design, develop, manufacture and supply the total plant and machinery on “Turnkey basis” for the production of Combustible Cartridge Cases (CCC), approached MAS. At the time the Defence Ministry approached, MAS was well known for it's advanced vacuum moulding technology and had established a number of plants on Turn-key basis for their clients, in India and abroad with varying capacities, mainly for the production of egg trays etc.
By 1988 MAS developed the entire system of plant & machinery for the production of Combustible Cartridge Cases for different guns, as per the needs of the Indian army, MAS was asked to manufacture and supply Combustible Cartridge Cases for the Indian Army using Maspack Machinery.
Thus MAS - hitherto an engineering firm - engaged R&D for special purpose machines entered the military ammunition-manufacturing field; a responsibility bestowed on MAS by the Ministry of Defence, Soon MAS was the prime CCC supplier to the Indian Army.
